About Us
Sakasci Diamonds is an appointment-only Personal Jeweler located in the Columbus, Ohio, suburb of New Albany that sells diamonds, watches, and designer and custom-made jewelry. We also buy jewelry and offer trade-in and jewelry repair services.
With our buy-direct, personal approach, our customers don’t have to pay for the payroll, marketing and expensive leases that the big box/big brand stores wrap up into the price of their jewelry. Sakasci Diamonds works directly with the biggest diamond houses and watch suppliers in New York, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Dallas to bring the highest quality diamonds, name-brand watches and designer jewelry right to you.
The owner, Jason Sakasci, has more than 15 years of experience working in the jewelry industry at various levels of sales and management around the country. He has earned certifications from the Diamond Council of America (DCA) and Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and is a member of the Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), a national organization promoting trusted and preferred retailers.

Jason Sakasci opened his jewelry store in December 2015.
Jason Sakasci developed a strong work ethic at a young age while growing up in the southern-most Cleveland suburb of Medina, taking his first job at age 14 while working in a sports card store. His love for Cleveland sports and collectible trading cards allowed him at a young age to identify that it is very important to love what you do for a living.
“I had very little patience or tolerance for jobs I didn’t enjoy or love,” he says. “That’s why I stuck with jewelry. It has always kept my interest and there is an endless opportunity to grow your career. I loved it from the start.”
He started his jewelry career in 2003 at a J.B. Robinson’s store in Canton, Ohio. From there, he worked the next nine years in sales and middle to upper management across the country for Signet Jewelers stores, such as Kays and Jared Jewelers.
“I loved working for Signet Jewelers, so much so I would have retired from there if they would have let me,” Jason says. “Unfortunately, I was let go, but it was the best thing that ever happened to me. It took me out of management and back into sales, thus allowing me to rediscover the love and passion I had for working with customers on one of the most important purchases in their life.”
A couple of years later, Sakasci found himself working at the largest independent jeweler in Columbus and finishing as the highest volume sales associate over a 22-month span. This inspired him to go out on his own and open Sakasci Diamonds in December 2015, and he hasn’t looked back since.
“Working directly with the customers rekindled my love of the business and gave me the drive and determination to start my own business,” Jason says. “Sharing a one-of-a-kind experience with couples as they navigate through the engagement ring process is truly a humbling and grateful experience for me. Building relationships, giving A+ customer service and providing high-quality diamonds or fine Swiss timepieces at the best price is my mission.”
When selecting Sakasci Diamonds, customers don’t have to pay the payroll, marketing costs and expensive leases wrapped up in jewelry prices at the big box/big brand stores, he says. “What you’re going to get with us is the best price — quality for quality — a personal relationship with your jeweler, and a better overall experience than you would get from those box stores.”
Sakasci says few jewelry stores have adopted his appointment-only sales approach, which gives him the ability to communicate directly to potential customers in-person and through his many social media channels. Customers can now schedule appointments on Sakasci Diamonds’ website for the first time at the “Make an Appointment” page or “SCHEDULE NOW” buttons.
“I believe we’re putting in place a business model that will redefine the customer jewelry experience and be easy to replicate,” Jason says. “The customer deserves a better and more reliable experience than they’re getting in the mall and box stores. Long-term, I’d like to grow my network of personal jewelers and share my success and what I’ve learned among those I’ve mentored, trained or hired over the years.”
Sakasci Diamonds also specializes in jewelry repairs.
